HISTORICAL BUMPS

Once upon a time
A man named Donald Trump
Entered a famous White House.
In history he will be known as Bump
Not only because it rhymes
And because of Humpty Dump
ty, but because history
Is an obstacle course
Littered with bumps.
That's why it's called an obstacle course
Of course

Destiny litters our time
All our times
With bumps.

To test us all
To find out if we'll fall
Or slump
Or dump
Or jump
Or overcome
When a Trump
By any other name
Appears on the bumpy racetrack
Of history.

Thump, thump, thump
(as I drummed my feet on the floor in applause)

Thank you, Bruce, I'm dancing to your thumping drum!

Omg...a tester/testor theory ... I always wondered if test was related to the words scrowtom's theory of the air males. The ones that nail their protests to the door over at Loo central at the twitts castle.

Leah, I'm lost: can you translate your comment into a language I understand?

I can't...it's a pirate's joke. Or a privates, depending. :)

Okay, so was there a reason to offer me a comment which can only be understood by pirates or privates, neither of which professions I'm qualified for?

Lol...sorry ...it is the name of the blog: mirror blog, which I view as a fun house in an amusement park. Though you do provide thought provoking posts...sometimes I go straight to the funny. (to the pirates and privates,) I am awe tistic

Perhaps the magical comes to me on its own, reminding me there is such a place, and perhaps I can do nothing but be aware when it happens to open up...to be grateful. :)
And as to the other, trump, that is the standard reality I have to face, and so I do, and not always happily. :( to me it is not "all good." I remain with two eyes, one tear for joyous laughter and one tear for sorrow and lamenting. The one eye lens, I find authoritarian and totalitarian and without compassion. Thanks for your blog.

The one-eyed jack in the royal family is not my cup of tea, however trump sees himself as an ace in sp ace, so we shall see.

Leah, thank you. Always be grateful for the magical, the unexpected inspiration outside the box! Sorry I was being too literal, demanding explanation. I welcome your two-eyed approach, I really do.

The American Deep State is doing pushups on a mirror; and William Binney, the NSA whistleblower, says Trump is right about all the tapping of the phones; while Wikileaks reports that there's no electronic communication, of thine or mine, that is not recorded in the Big Cyber Matrix. The USA is now in the process of being dismantled; and I don't know how many more bumps the superstructure can take, before the whole mess comes tumbling down. Maybe the big cheeses will lose control of the experiment and the laugh will be on them. Wouldn't it be funny if they were victims of their own device, and woke up one morning in a glass house of their own?

Copeland, indeed it's gigantic mess. Wikileaks did reveal quite a while ago, long before the Trump take'-over, that the NSA was monitoring everybody and their cats and dogs. So if Trumps wires were tapped it was by the NSA and surely not by Obama's orders since Obama's own wires were no doubt tapped as well by the NSA.
