FOR BLANCHE

Yesterday would have been my mother's 119th birthday if she was still here. To honour Blanche and celebrate her I made this sort of manifesto.

I thought it was time to seek a definition:

An ethereal harmony thought by the Pythagoreans to be produced by the vibration of the celestial spheres.

Which is just as well. I always imagined it related to cast-iron bowling balls suspended from a more-then-robust Christmas tree being teased by a passing hurricane. An earlier version - copyrighted by Jahweh - of the service recently provided for mobile phone users by our hopelessly incompetent (why not incontinent?) government.

I am depressed to find I've - temporarily, of course - survived cancer to find I live in the only Banana Republic in the Northern Hemisphere. Weh ist mir.

Hello Robbie, thanks for stopping by!

I answered your comment but it vanished so I'm trying again. I was (above the ear symbol) referring to Johannes Kepler's Music of the Spheres which he worked out in elaborate detail. I've always wanted to hear what it would sound like. With digital technology it might eventually be possible to listen to what is considered impossible.

Anyway I wish you good health in every dimension and trust you are still singing.
I will now try again to ,prove I'm not a robot.
