Miss Pepsi might be her
given name but she has never touched the stuff. She's made of
tin and her smile is forever fixed. She's jolly but something
in her eyes tells you not to mess with her. She might
be saying come hither or bugger off or wadder you lookin
at? She's seen better days but makes the most of her
unorthodox appearance.

The eyes, the red and the curvy lines remind me of our Westcoast First Nations art. Interesting to see these 'found art' pieces, if that is the right word. They still have the Natalie wit about them.
You've changed your blog page look again. I thought I'd gone to the wrong place at first, it's so different with the charcoal and black. Your work does jump out against it.
Natalie, I love this painting!
Marja-Leena, I've only changed the look of this Blogger mirror-blog. My main Blaugustine remains the same as when you last saw it. It's confusing, I know!
You're right, there is something of the BC early totem poles about Miss Pepsi, if that's what you mean? The name Westcoast First Nations is new to me! When I was in BC they had their originial Indian name.
Leslee, thank you. It's more of a 3-D construction than a painting but sometimes it's hard to categorise these things.
Natalie, I haven't forgotten your main blog, it's so colourful!
First Nations is what all Canada's indigenous people prefer to "Indian", and this can include the Metis and the Inuit. Of course the individual tribes all have their native names and use them too. BC has the largest number fo First Nations in Canada.
Hits the spot!
Pepsi Cola hits the spot
12 full ounces that's a lot!
Twice as much for a nickel too
Pepsi Cola is the drink for you!
Hattie, yes, I remember the jingle!
Never did see any difference between Pepsi and Coke...same sugary brown liquid.
An enigma in a frame. I see something different every time I look. Or maybe I'm logging in to the wrong blog ha ha.
Now to do the anti-robot puzzle ...
Adam, the anti-robot puzzle? What is it?
ho ho Natalie it's the distorted numbers and text one has to decipher to post a comment (to prove I am human, which is quite welcome some mornings ...) ... love the words it comes up with:
"eaftact" today, I think
